An adventurous safari through the zoo takes you through different geographical regions, letting you admire the unique flora and fauna it shows off.
Catch sight of rhinos, giraffes, zebras, and many other wild animals along the way.
With no fence or glass separating you from the majestic animals, enjoy an intimate viewing experience.
Learn about the many conservation schemes and efforts taken by the authorities to conserve wildlife.
Tour the zoo and see leopards, hippos, zebras, waterbucks, ostrich, and a host of other animals.
Enjoy sights of the Australian-native animals housed here as well, including kangaroos and emus.
Dinosaur lovers will enjoy exploring Zoorassic in the Werribee River Trail - it has 10 ancient animatronic giants (only open until the end of April 2021).
Indoor habitats and indoor play spaces are open with capacity limits except for Bandicoot Hideout, which will remain closed.
Safari buses are running with limited capacity (day sessions only). Don't forget your face mask. Evening bus sessions are not running at the moment.
You can bring a picnic to the zoo if you wish. Please keep sharp knives at home and try and minimize bringing glassware, but everything else is fine to bring. If you need to pop out to your car to get your picnic at lunchtime, make sure you let the friendly gate staff know so they can let you back into the zoo as your ticket will not work once it has been scanned.
Children aged 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult at the zoo.
Visitors of all ages (including babies) will now need a pre-booked ticket to enter the zoo. This applies to weekdays, weekends, public holidays, and school holidays.
Note: Animals have access to their night dens during this time and the zoo doesn't want to disrupt their routine so some animals may choose to hit the hay early.
